🛒 Ordering & Shopping

Placing an order on Kirihat is simple:

  1. Download the Kirihat app or visit our website
  2. Create an account or log in
  3. Browse products or search for what you need
  4. Add items to your cart
  5. Proceed to checkout and select delivery options
  6. Choose your payment method (UPI or COD)
  7. Confirm your order

You'll receive a confirmation notification immediately after placing your order.

The minimum order value varies by product category and may change based on ongoing offers. You'll see any minimum order requirements at checkout. For most categories, there is no minimum order value, but small orders may incur a convenience fee.

You can modify or cancel your order before it is shipped. Once the order is picked up by a rider, modifications are not possible. To modify an order:

  1. Go to "My Orders" in the app
  2. Select the order you want to modify
  3. Click "Cancel Order" or contact customer support immediately

If your order has already been dispatched, you can request a return after delivery.

Kirihat offers a wide range of products including:

🚚 Delivery & Shipping

Kirihat offers two delivery modes:

  • Instant Delivery: Get your order in approximately 20 minutes (not guaranteed, depends on availability and location)
  • Standard Delivery: Delivery within 2-10 hours

Delivery times may vary based on product availability, traffic conditions, and weather.

Delivery charges depend on:

  • Order value
  • Product category
  • Delivery mode (Instant or Standard)
  • Current offers and promotions

You'll see the exact delivery charges at checkout before confirming your order. We often offer free delivery on orders above a certain value.

Currently, Kirihat delivers to PIN code 783334 in Dhubri, Assam. We're actively working on expanding to more areas. Join our waiting list to be notified when we launch in your location!

Yes! You can track your order in real-time through the Kirihat app. You'll receive updates at every stage:

  • Order confirmed
  • Order being prepared
  • Out for delivery
  • Delivered

You can also see your rider's location on the map once the order is out for delivery.

Our riders attempt delivery one time only. If you're unavailable:

  • The rider will try to contact you via phone
  • If unreachable, the order may be cancelled
  • You'll need to place a new order

Please ensure you're available at the delivery address and your phone is accessible during the delivery window.

Kirihat accepts the following payment methods:

  • UPI: All UPI apps (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Pay when you receive your order

All online payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways.

Apart from product prices, you may see the following charges at checkout:

  • Platform fee
  • Delivery fee
  • Payment gateway fee (for online payments)
  • Convenience fee (for small orders)
  • COD handling fee (if applicable)
  • Packaging fee

All charges are transparently displayed before you confirm your order.

Yes, absolutely! Your payment security is our priority:

  • All transactions are encrypted with industry-standard SSL technology
  • We use trusted payment gateways
  • We never store your complete payment information
  • Your financial data is protected with multiple layers of security

Refunds are processed based on your original payment method:

  • UPI Payments: Refunded to your original UPI ID within 24-48 hours
  • COD Orders: You'll need to provide your UPI or bank account details for refund processing (5-7 business days)

Refunds are initiated within 2 business days after the returned product is picked up and inspected.

Return policies vary by product category. The return window is mentioned on each product's detail page. Generally:

  • Products must be unused and in original packaging
  • Return requests must be raised within the specified return window
  • Some products (perishables, personal care items) are non-returnable

To return a product:

  1. Go to "My Orders" in the app
  2. Select the order containing the product you want to return
  3. Click "Return Product" and select the reason
  4. Upload photos if required
  5. Submit the return request

Once approved, a rider will be assigned to pick up the product from your address.

We sincerely apologize if you receive a damaged or incorrect product. Please:

  2. Provide photos/videos of the damaged or wrong product
  3. Do not use or discard the product

We'll arrange a free return pickup and either send a replacement or process a full refund. No penalty fees will apply for damaged or incorrect products.

Return charges depend on the reason for return:

  • Defective/Damaged Product: No charges - free return pickup
  • Wrong Product Delivered: No charges - free return pickup
  • Change of Mind: May incur return shipping fees depending on product category

Any applicable charges will be communicated when you raise the return request.

👤 Account & Profile

Creating an account is quick and easy:

  1. Download the Kirihat app or visit our website
  2. Click on "Sign Up" or "Register"
  3. Enter your mobile number
  4. Verify with OTP
  5. Add your name and email
  6. You're ready to shop!

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You can manage your delivery addresses in your account:

  1. Go to "Account" or "Profile"
  2. Select "Manage Addresses"
  3. Add new address or edit existing ones
  4. Select your preferred address at checkout

You can save multiple addresses for easy ordering.

You can request account deletion at any time:

  1. Go to "Account Settings"
  2. Select "Delete Account"
  3. Confirm your decision

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted within 30 days, except for information we're legally required to retain.

Yes! We take your privacy seriously:

  • We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data
  • Your information is stored on secure Firebase servers
  • We never sell your personal information to third parties
  • We comply with all Indian data protection laws

🤝 For Partners (Sellers, Vendors, Riders)

To become a seller:

  1. Visit our Seller Policy page
  2. Review the requirements and commission structure
  3. Contact us at partnerships@kirihat.com
  4. Submit required documents (business registration, ID proof, etc.)
  5. Our team will review and onboard you

There are no upfront costs to join Kirihat as a seller!

To join as a delivery rider:

  1. Must be 18+ years old (15+ for bicycle riders)
  2. Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or Passport)
  3. For motorized vehicles: Driving license and vehicle RC
  4. Bank account for payments

Vendors operate warehouses that store products for quick delivery. To become a vendor:

  1. Have warehouse space available
  2. Ability to manage inventory
  3. Contact us at partnerships@kirihat.com

Vendors earn steady income from storage services and inventory management. Read our Vendor Policy for details.

Payment schedules for partners:

  • Sellers: Weekly payouts within 7 business days
  • Vendors: Weekly payouts within 7 business days
  • Riders: Weekly payouts within 7 business days

All payments are made via bank transfer to your registered account.
